My work concerns itself with the fragmentary and fleeting nature of memory; the ephemeral quality of reality; and memory and perception, particularly around its relationship to storytelling. I am drawn to exploring how these stories shape a being's lived experience and their memories and the circular nature of this process. Finally, my artistic exploration also examines the human body in relationship to others and the landscape, in both physical and emotional space.
By combining mediums based on intuition, but not on thought, I feel the greatest connection to my process, which is fueled by my passion for color and a yearning to improve the next time. That I came close, but next time I can get closer.
